All Assembly of God Ring members, who needed to update their code, has been contacted by the Owner/Moderator via their blog comments.

WHAT IS THIS RING CODE, AND WHY DO I HAVE TO HAVE IT?

The code is the html code, or wording that tells the computer what to do. The html code, when added properly to you blog, it should look like:

Power By Ringsurf

If you don't see all of it on your blog, then you need to update your code. If you need the code, you can find it here or on A Hoosier Family.

WHY you need the code displayed on your blog? RingSurf (who hosts the actual ring) sends out bots to members sites/blogs searching for the code. If the bot doesn't detect the code, your blog is removed from the ring.

The code is a means for people to easily get on the ring. That is why it is requested to be in your sidebar area, in the top half of your blog.

Another important reason to have this posted is because of advertising the ministry. The black/white/gold Assembly of God Blogs banner grabs a readers attention a lot better than a simple word link.

Another reason is because it is "playing fair". As a member, you receive benefits (such as increased traffic, higher Internet rankings, greater exposure on the Internet) and all is asked in return is to display the code to let others know about the ring.
